Due to the global health crisis caused by Covid-19, doctors and scientists have advised us to stay at home, to do a home office, and to go out alone if absolutely necessary. That is why both the most affected countries and those that want to avoid alarming figures have declared a quarantine state to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

We know that most of us are not used to staying locked up at home for long periods, but while we are overcoming the crisis, we have no other choice, and it is VERY IMPORTANT to follow all the necessary measures to maintain our health. That includes zero visits to friends.

If you love them, don’t visit them.

Not being able to see our best friend, being away from our boyfriend and, for those of us who live alone, not visiting mom and dad is a great cause of stress, but if you love them, it is best not to visit them.

Health experts are working day and night to contain the pandemic, but while they do their thing, they ask for a little help to avoid massive contagion since it has been proven that a single apparently healthy person is capable of infecting up to a thousand individuals by themselves.

Quarantine not only means not going to bars, the gym, or the cinema, it also means not going to your friend’s house for a coffee to catch up on all the pending talks.

Visiting friends is playing with fire. At this point, we must act as if we are all infected. You can be a risk for yourself, your family, friends, and the entire community.

What to do to survive quarantine?

Staying at home does not mean isolating ourselves from the world, there are some ways to lead a life as normal as possible, and to make our quarantine a pleasant time.

The most important thing is to understand that this is a temporary measure and that if we abide by the security provisions, we will soon be able to see and hug our loved ones. For a while, we leave you some tips to not feel alone.

Forget WhatsApp and talk on the phone

WhatsApp came to make our lives easier and keep us in touch with others no matter how far they are, but it has also made us forget that there are phone calls.

The calls what? Yes! Grab your cell phone and dial the number of the person you miss; you will see how comforting it is to hear their voice.

Make facetime

If listening to their voices brightens your day, imagine how much more it will see their faces! It’s time to take advantage that we live in the technological age, and many applications bring us closer, including those that allow us to chat with more than one person at a time. Get your little group together or talk to all your aunts!

Watch the same movie at the same time.

Remember that movie or series that you and your BFF always planned to watch but couldn’t? Stop hesitating! The important thing about this plan is to play at the same time and have a cell phone at hand to share your feelings. They will be scared together, and they will cry together and laugh together.
