National Basketball Association superstar forward Lebron James captivated the crowd inside an arena in San Diegoe, California when he finally made his debut as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA preseason game.

In the game James scored nine points in a 15-minute play where his team was defeated by the visiting Denver Nuggets 124-107. James, Rondo and fellow veterans McGee, Lance Stephenson and Michael Beasley signed to team up with the Lakers’ talented young core.

Lakers coach Luke Walton is pleased with the performance of James in his first game in a Lakers uniform. Asked before the game what stands out about James, coach Luke Walton said, “His intelligence. He sees everything. He knows even before drills. He knows where he’s going. His work ethic. He’s out there pre-practice with the guys, post-practice with the guys. Taking care of his body in the weight room.
