More and more fans are demanding Marvel to represent the LGBT community in their films and introduce a homosexual character, and it seems that their wishes will come true.
According to confidential sources from the, We Got This Covered portal, Marvel Studios is thinking of making a Spider-Man movie in which our arachnid hero is bisexual.
Tom Holland approves this.
In a 2019 interview, Tom said he was eager for more diverse characters to join the plot of the films as reality is more complex than just black and white.
I can’t talk about the character’s future because I honestly don’t know about that and it’s out of my reach. But I do know a lot about the future of Marvel, and they will represent various types of people in the coming years.
The world is not as simple as being a straight white man. It doesn’t end there, and these movies should personify more than one type of person.
But it is not Holland who will break stereotypes.
A multiverse with 3 Spidermen
According to the same anonymous source, Marvel is working on the live action of the animated production Spider-Man: A new universe, in which different versions of the superhero are in the same dimension, and it is planned that Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield be Peter Parker again.
We Got This Covered speculates that Garfield will be the one who plays the bisexual character, which would make sense if we take into account that both Tobey and Tom have Mary Jane, while Gwen Stacy died in The Amazing Spider-Man.
